Our society is open on Saturdays with a volunteer there to help you!  Come out and see us and let us help you search for your family!

October is Family History Month! Try to choose and do something each day to celebrate.....

Here are 7 suggestions to start: 

1. Take a photo of a favorite family recipe. Share with your children or grandchildren or even some neighbors and friends.

2. Look up the year you were born and learn about the things that happened that day and week.

3. Do you have a favorite family tradition? Do you share with others and compare? Do it.....or plan a new one!

4. Send a text or call a relative you haven't talked to in a while. Reach out and enjoy.

5. Go to google maps and find the house where you or your parents lived. See how or if the neighborhood has changed.

6. Visit a family site and watch a short video about something you have wanted to learn more about.

7. Get your questions together and visit the local genealogy center in your area.
